Stop government funding for the anti-religious activities of FECRIS groups

 We continue to examine the activities of the anti-cultists. In this article we will look at how an organization like FECRIS is sponsored by the French government and is creating lawlessness right in the heart of Europe and beyond.

FOB (European Federation for Religious Freedom) was registered in Rome on January 26, 2015. It is a federation of associations that advocate for freedom of thought, religion and belief End public funding for the anti-religious activities of FECRIS groups | Freedom of Religion (freedomofbelief.net)

CAP Liberté de Conscience, a partner of FOB, submitted a report to the Human Rights Committee in preparation for the Human Rights Committee's review of the situation in France recommending an end to state funding of anti-cult associations. The report is available below or on the OHCHR.org website.

As stated in the report: “The main beneficiary of this funding is the French association FECRIS. Or rather, it has been joined by French associations, which in turn pass these funds on to their leading associations: in fact, FECRIS has federated associations in 34 European and non-European countries. Most of them are micro-groups of two or three people engaged in a common effort to influence public opinion through the media in order to turn the authorities against religious movements, which they invariably call “cults” in a pejorative sense.”

This information to me is a confirmation of what the esteemed Egon Cholakian said in his video report about the antikultists.

“This anti-cult structure serves as an umbrella organization for anti-cult associations from over 30 countries. Its stated purpose is to educate the public about sectarianism and protect victims from abuse by destructive religious cults. However, in fact, during its history, members of this umbrella organization have accumulated a large number of civil and criminal lawsuits for their actions. The activities of this organization violate the fundamental international and constitutional rights of citizens, undermining the foundations of democracy.” 

Egon Cholakian further stated that: “But at the same time, this organization is based in the capital of the leading democratic country - Paris. And more than 90% of its funding is allocated by the French government from the funds of its taxpayers. It has the status of participation at the Council of Europe and the status of special advisor to the UN Economic and Social Council, continuing to carry out its pronounced anti-human activities. And this at a time when the UN Charter itself emphasizes respect for fundamental freedoms and human rights, including freedom of religion”. 

It was a complete shock for me to learn from Egon Cholakyan's video report that the activities of anti-cultists using anti-democratic totalitarian methods violate many points of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, such as: Article 1, Article 2, Article 11, Article 12 and others.

I, and I think you too, my dear readers, have an inner dissonance: why despite all this, the anti-cultists still exist? And not only do they exist, but they are also sponsored at the expense of democratic states.  How is this possible in the free world? 

It is good to know that the esteemed Egon Cholakian reported that the leaders of France will be explaining this soon....
